Pilgrimage Nepal | (7 Nights/ 8 Days)

The capital city, Kathmandu, is not only the largest city in Nepal, but it is the only major city in the entire country. Upon visiting Kathmandu, one might see a medieval building and temples of 20th century. One might also see an abundance of Buddhist stupas and Hindu temples that one can visit. Since, generations of travelers from different parts of the world accurately described Kathmandu City as a �Leaving Museum�.

This package will take you to various Monasteries within Kathmandu Valley and Dhulikhel, a famous well-preserved Newar town and mountain viewpoint. You would also get a chance to visit Bungmati, a traditional Tuscan Village: scrunched together on a hillock with its tall brick houses and tiled roof sloping in different directions.

» Itinerary:

Day 01

KATHMANDU
Arrive Kathmandu . Meet by our representative and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Soaltee Crown Plaza or similar. (NO MEAL)

Day 02

KATHMANDU - LUMBINI
Breakfast at hotel at 0630 hrs. Check out hotel and transfer to Lumbini by tourist coach. Lumbini is about 296 Kms far from Kathmandu but the drive by bus is around 8 hrs. We stop at Hamlet Restaurant on the way to have some rest and taste the local readymade tea. We then drive beside the river banks of Trishuli River (a famous spot for Rafting) not to miss out the pastoral scenery on the way. We then proceed our journey and stop at Riverside Springs Resort for lunch. After lunch we break our journey to arrive the Terai region (the grain basket of the country) where the roads are quite broad and good. We arrive Lumbini around 1530 hrs. Upon arrival we start the sightseeing tour of Lumbini Garden, Mayadevi Temple, Bathing pond etc which was UNESCO world heritage site. Dinner and overnight at Lumbini Garden or similar. (B/L/D)

Day 03

LUMBINI
Breakfast at hotel at 0700 hrs. Free time at own leisure for individual activities. Come to hotel for lunch at 1330 hrs. Free time after lunch for individual activities. Dinner and overnight at Lumbini Garden or similar. (B/L/D)

Day 04

LUMBINI - POKHARA
Breakfast at hotel at 0700 hrs. After breakfast check out hotel and transfer by coach to Pokhara via Tansen-Palpa route. The distance from Lumbini to Pokhara is about 210 Kms. We drive past beautiful hilly regions. Stop on the way to take some rest and eat packed lunch. We then proceed our journey to Pokhara. We arrive Pokhara about 1500 hrs and transfer to hotel. Rest of the time at own leisure for individual activities. Dinner and overnight at the Fulbari Resort or similar. (B/L/D)

Day 05

POKHARA
Wake up early in the morning at 0430 hrs to transfer to Sarangkot . We will be able to see the perfect panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks, from Dhaulagiri (8167m) in the west to the perfect pyramid Machhapuchhre (6997m) and the Annapurna II(7937m) in the east. The first morning rays of the sunrise on the Himalayas is just picturesque. We then come down to visit Bindebasini Temple (Hindu Temple). Arrive hotel for breakfast at 0830 hrs. Laze around the hotel and at own leisure until lunch. Transfer to the Lake View Resort for lunch at 1300 hrs. After lunch enjoy the boating experience in Fewa Lake. Rest of the time free to shop at the lakeside or just laze around. Transfer to the hotel and dinner and overnight at Fulbari Resort or similar. (B/L/D)

Day 06

POKHARA - KATHMANDU - NAGARKOT
Breakfast at hotel at 0700 hrs. After breakfast check out hotel and transfer back to Kathmandu. Stop at Highway Restaurant for tea/coffee break. Continue the surface journey to arrive at Riverside Springs Resort for lunch. Continue our journey to arrive Kathmandu and transfer to Nagarkot . Situated at an elevation of 2175m, Nagarkot is the best idle location for nature lovers to see the local village life and panoramic mountain ranges. Rest of the time at own leisure to fresh up or wait for the beautiful moment of sunset. Dinner and overnight at Club Himalaya or similar. (B/L/D)

Day 07

NAGARKOT - KATHMANDU
Wake up early in the morning at 0530 hrs to see sunrise and outrageous views of the mountains from Dhaulagiri in the west to Mt. Everest and Kanchenjunga in the east via Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, Shisha Pangma, Dorje Lakpa and Gauri Shanker. Breakfast at 0730 hrs. After breakfast check out hotel and transfer back to the valley. We then visit Boudha � one of the biggest stupas in the world and a very famous and favorite Buddhist shrine. Drive slowly to arrive China Palace Restaurant for lunch at 1200 hrs. After lunch visit Kathmandu Durbar Square . Famously known as Kasthamandap ( a medieval rest house said to give Kathmandu by its name, Kumari Temple ) abode of the virgin goddess, Hanumandhoka and its vicinity. After this we visit Swayambhunath , famously known as The Monkey's Temple. Evening view of the valley from this stupa located on top of the hill is just very picturesque. We then transfer to Nepali cultural restaurant where they show typical cultural dance and ethnic nepali dishes. We then transfer to hotel and overnight at Soaltee Crown Plaza or similar. (B/L/D)

Day 08

KATHMANDU
Breakfast at hotel at 0800 hrs. After breakfast check out hotel and transfer to Patan a second city of the valley which is also very famous for its arts and crafts. Major attractions in Patan are the Shikara-style Krishna Temple, Patan Durbar Square with royal baths, Golden Temple a Buddhist Monastery. The age-old palaces and the local people are some entertaining facts about Patan. We then go for lunch at China Town Restaurant. After lunch we transfer you to Thamel Area a very famous tourist hub of the city. You are free to go around and do last minute shopping in Durbar Marg area or in Thamel. Pick up from Thamel at 1900 hrs to be transferred to Shangri-La Hotel for dinner. Pack up your things, freshen up and get ready to be transferred to the airport . (B/L/D)
